Run to the Sun – Mount Maunganui

Run To The Sun NZ is an event for all Volkswagen lovers in beautiful Mt Maunganui. The event is set to take place at the height of summer 2019 from Friday Feb 15-17.
The venue is the stunning campsite at the foot of Mt Maunganui. With almost 50 dubbers already confirmed spaces are filling fast, so if you would like to join in on what is going to be an amazing weekend of sun, sand, surf and VW’s get in quick. http://www.mountbeachside.co.nz/
Programme – we start off on Friday 15th feb at the beautiful Mount Maunganui campsite, sites are limited with already 85% booked. We have managed to secure the same camping costs as last year, Closing date is 24th December, so if you want to book contact campsite direct on 07 5754471 .Our welcome BBQ (kindly sponsored by Adlam painters of Rotorua) is held at the campsite around 6pm, along with box car competition for the young Dubbers and a drive in movie. Also we have Hayley doing her amazing fire dance routine.
Saturday is the show and shine, this year we are having this in Coronation park along with Little big markets.so plenty to keep the family occupied. Saturday evening prize giving is at Mexicali,where you can grab a bite to eat along with a few beers. We can assure you that there are some fantastic prizes to be given out.
Sunday is a cruise out to the lovely Te Puna Quarry park for a picnic lunch and BBQ (please bring your own lunch) fabulous place for the whole family with play park and lots of scenic walks.
New for 2019 RTTS T shirts will be available to order. We need orders and payment by 24th December.
Event fee is $30 per car payable to RTTS account with your name as reference. You will need a screen shot of confirmation of payment for registration on the Friday night.
